Rolex Watches Highlight - The Datejust What A Difference A Day Makes

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES

In the earliest models of the Datejust, the date would begin to change some hours before its midnight rendezvous. In 1955, the date-change mechanism became instantaneous, and the date aperture was enhanced with a Cyclops lens enabling magnification of the date by two and half times for easy reading.

THE OYSTER CASE

Very few people in the world are allowed inside a Rolex Oyster. Only authorised Rolex retailers have the necessary know-how, skills and equipment to gain access. Hermetically sealed to the case with a massive torque of five newton metres, the back of any Oyster, as this case back demonstrates, creates an environment that protects the movement from shocks, pressure, dust, water and any other intrusive element.

Rolex Finds New Ways to Reinvent the Datejust.

“In 1910, a Rolex watchwas awarded the first official Swiss certificate
granted to a wristwatch by the Official Watch Rating Centre in Bienne”

A classic watch is always a wise choice and Rolex has played an important role in creating timepieces that are also functional, versatile and iconic. This year, the Datejust collection is revamped with a newer version, the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust II Rolesor. This new model updates the classic Datejust design with a 41mm case, fluted bezel and water resistance to 100 metres.

FEATURES MAKE THE QUAI DE L'ILE REALLY TICK.

In recent years, literally hundreds of concept Watches have been released to the market, all promising a variety of ways to radically change the way we tell time. Most of these are function-related with unique modifications to the movement and the display. That being said, although the last major technological breakthrough in classical timepiece machine- making, the tourbillon, was created more than two centuries ago, few have dared venture outside the realms of traditional watch making for something completely different.
Then again, Vacheron Constantin is known for making new breakthroughs in the artistic and finishing aspect of its watches. For example, with the release of the Quai de L'lle, the brand has taken a radical new direction that will surely be difficult to forge. According to CEO Juan-Carlos Torres, "The Quai de L'lle takes the name of our historical address. it is an assertion of what we are and where we come from."

IWC AQUATIMER - LUXURY WATCHES HIGHLIGHTS

About The Luxury Watches IWC Aquatimer Collection

Over the past few years, the IWC Aquatimer has emerged as a favourite of luxury diving watch fans the world over. While IWC spent much of the last five years re-developing their other collections, the Aquatimer was never forgotten and always launching new technically impressive sport watches.

What makes this so impressive? Well, for one thing, IWC broke from tradition by choosing an external dive bezel instead of the usual internal ring bezel. Another immediate obvious aesthetic improvement is the larger 44mm and 46mm cases. For those who like to change straps, IWC has implemented a new system for quick strap changes that requires no tools.
