There was a time when thousands of travelers missed their trains. Simply because every town and hamlet had its own tandard of time determined by the sun, rail travel used to be played by ear. This system not only led to confused passengers, but also numerous accidents because railroads were all working on different times. Years later, when time was standardized, the Hamilton
Watch Company presented America with accurate watches for the railroad community. Fast forward to 2010, Hamilton brings back a railroad watch, the Hamilton RailRoad, as an integral part of their collection.
Inspired by the original pocket watch, the 2010 RailRoad watches feature the same sleek round look with a more refined and
sophisticated dial design. Three case sizes have been designed for the RailRoad watches, a 38mm, a 44mm and a 46mm
version. The two smaller case sizes feature automatic movements, while the 46mm case was designed for the automatic
chronograph version in black PVD and stainless steel materials.

Another trip down memory lane was made with the new Khaki X-Landing. Hamilton’s Khaki X-Landing features a
GMT chronograph, designed with materials and structures of early plane metals along with a notably important feature
for a pilot to measure the top of descent (TOD).
